The Council is a registered association under German law, founded in Berlin in 2016 and run by alumni and affiliates of the conference.

Founded in Berlin, 2016

The Council was founded in May 2016, eight years after the first conference. Its first forum followed that October at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin.

Founding board: Frederic Rupprecht, Noshad Irshad, David Middlebeck and Fredrik von Bothmer.
