Enjoy a night of Waltz, romance and dance in the tradition of the 19th-century Austria – join the 34th edition of the McCloy Viennese ball at Harvard on February 9th, 2019.
Inspired by the historic Kaiser Ball housed in Vienna, this night will take you on a time travel. Guests may waltz in the grand ballroom, frolic by the fireplace, or dance to American classics. You will hear gregarious laughter, Waltzing feet and a meddling of classical and modern music.
This year we will have a 10-piece orchestra, as well as a 5-piece modern band, straddling European and American ball culture. Your ticket also includes a stationary buffet, a drink, a polaroid and two Waltz lessons.

The German American Conference is getting ready for its 11th round. And we would love to have you being part of the next GAC organizing team.

The first meetings will take place on Jan 31, Feb 6th, and Feb 13th. Come and get to know the GAC! No commitment required.

Jan 31 (7pm, HKS, OFR-401): Let’s get to know each other! What does it take to organize a conference like the GAC? Come and learn about lessons from last year's team.

Feb 6th (time TBD, HKS, OFR-401): Let's imagine GAC2019! What themes and topics matter most in today's transatlantic world? What do you want the 11th German American conference to cover? Come to brainstorm and discuss!

Feb 13th (time TBD, HKS, WEX-102): Let's plan the planning! Let's start getting to work! This will be our first tactical meeting of the year. Based on the lessons and visions meeting: come with specific ideas on what you would like to contribute to or learn more about.

If you cannot make it to all of them don’t worry! Just come whenever you have time. If you cannot make it to any of the meeting but are curious and want to learn more about the GAC, shoot us an email: info2018@germanamericanconference.org.
