Stay in touch with old friends and make new ones

Your friends are already here! Meet friends from your GAC team and fellow students and alumni of Harvard University. Stay in lifelong touch with your existing friends and make new friends with like-minded interest and a shared history.

Support the GAC next generations

Establishing continuity for the team of the German American Conference at Harvard is crucial to leverage the personal connections of former teams. Our databases and archives, which are continuously kept up-to date, are used by the Cambridge-based organizing committee as is our technical infrastructure. Furthermore, we keep in touch with our partners to build long-term relationships.

Attend exclusive events

Next to our flagship event, the German American Conference at Harvard, we are expanding our platform on both sides of the Atlantic. After a member strategy meeting and the first intimate dinner with Ambassador Dr. Klaus Scharioth, the first Council Forum takes place this October at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin and is embedded into two days of activities. Our Council on the Hill events in Washington, D.C. as well as more intimate dinners in Germany are forthcoming.

Connect with transatlantic leaders

Transatlantic leaders in the realms of politics, business and society from all German American Conferences at Harvard since its inception in 2008 connect and build friendships in the Council. Meet and connect with former as well as current speakers, partners and Presidium members at one of the Council events.

HOW THE COUNCIL WORKS

The Council’s organs and their respective rights and duties are described in detail in our bylaws. Take a look to find out how the Council operates.
