Role of the Presidium

We are proud to have such committed Presidium members at our side, who support us with their wisdom, passion for transatlantic relations, and unique network of decision makers. The role of the Presidium is to:

  • Support the next generation of GAC organizersHelp selecting future speakers and securing funding for the upcoming German American Conferences at Harvard as well as for related events of the Council
  • Vote: The Presidium elects the members of the Council’s Advisory Board
  • Represent usPresidium members are proposed by the Executive Board and elected by the Council’s member community. Presidium members are the public voice of the Council for a period of three years
  • Meet up: Presidium members meet at the annual gala dinner for networking and working sessions
